Xiaomi supposed to launch VR Headset on 1st August

Xiaomi, the famous Smartphone and electronics product manufacturer is all set to match steps to the leading techno product manufacturers such as Google, Samsung, HTC, Sony. It’s so because  now the manufacturer readily proceeds to launch its first ever VR Headset which is assumed to get launched on this Monday, 1st of August. If the assumption stands true, then Xiaomi will be seen mastering the act to manufacture almost all electronics devices.

VR Headset

You might remember, the previous Wednesday, Xiaomi announced its first laptop, the Mi Notebook Air on which we had given you complete details. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air boasts of an all metal body and a number of other superior features that makes it stand as a direct competitor to Apple’s MacBook Air. Though Xiaomi has still a long way to go to be a stern contender to Apple, still this attempt can’t be ignored.

Now we will back to the VR Headset that Xiaomi is planning to launch on Monday. This is not just an assumption as the company’s General Manager Tang Mu has previously confirmed the fact. Also he has ensured that this headset will be compatible to the Daydream platform of Google which was announced the previous month in the Google I/O event. If the company really launched the VR headset on Monday, then it will be counted one among the other VR Headset manufacturers such as Samsung, Sony, HTC, and Google.

You might remember in one of my previous articles I had informed you about Google’s Cardboard Camera App that Helps users to click “VR Photos”. The concept somehow goes the same. Though a brand new concept, still we find some other advanced products such as Oculus Rift and HTC Vive have been manufactured matching to the VR platform of Google.

According to the reports of Android Headlines, General Manager of Xiaomi, Tang Mu thinks that it will be the best device to bring the real VR experience to users and is specially designed for the MIUI users. But we don’t have sufficient info on the price and other realistic features of the VR headset which is scheduled for Monday release. So keep visiting TechGipsy to get the latest updates.
