Xiaomi is dominating in the in the mid-range smartphone class with its Redmi series as they can outperform many smartphones from other rivals and the Redmi Note 4 is the latest example for such a statement. Until now there is only the 3 GB version available online but Xiaomi is launching the Exclusive Variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage today at various online shops.
Other than the upgraded storage, the Exclusive Version is the similar phone to the regular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The device features a 5.5” IPS display with Full HD 1080p resolution. Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio X20 dexa-core SoC, clocked at 2.1 GHz with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU for handling graphic. At the rear, the Redmi Note 4 comes equipped a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus, and an LED flash. On the front is a 5MP resolution snapper for selfies, with an f/2.2 aperture lens. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, Dual-SIM slots, and 4G LTE. All features of the Redmi Note 4 will be kept by an impressive 4100mAh capacity battery. In terms of dimensions, the Redmi Note 4 4GB variant stills measures 151 x 76 x 8.4 mm and weighs in at 175 grams. As for software, the device runs on the latest MIUI V8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The phone is going to be officially released today at 10:00 CST for the sweet price of CNY1,399, which converts to around $200 on Xiaomi’s official store, JD.com, Xiaomi mall and Lynx. There are only two color options available in Faint Blue and Bright Black.
There is no information when the device will go on sale on other markets, and that might not even happen as Xiaomi only sells the Mediatek-powered Redmi Note 4 in China.
