If you are a fan of Xiaomi and looking forward the Xiaomi Mi 6’s design to looking like the Mi MIX, you may be disappointed. According to a new rumor, the Mi 6 will have the similar design to the Mi Note 2, but it is smaller than the Mi Note 2 in terms of size, as the Mi 6 is a smartphone-sized not a phablet-sized.
A rumor posted on Weibo also reiterated that the Mi 6 could be among smartphones to be integrated the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset inside, which is expected to be major processor of Android flagship smartphones next year. Besides, the inbuilt storage of the Mi 6 will be very impressive when it’s available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. About color options, the Xiaomi 2017 flagship will have variants available in Black, White, and a Blue color option.
The release of Mi 6 was previously rumored in April next year, but according to newest rumors, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone might be announced right in February next year. Although, the official date hasn’t been confirmed, it might be released on the Valentine’s Day or earlier on February 6th.

Besides being powered the Snapdragon 835 SoC, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is also rumored to have 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Though 6GB RAM sounds impressive right now, it may not remain “cutting-edge” next year, as trend of the upcoming 2017 flagship smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S8 could be included 8GB of RAM. Some of the other specs include a 16MP camera at the back, a 4MP ultra-pixel selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and a 3000mAh capacity battery. Of course, these specs have not been confirmed yet, so you should wait to get the official information. However, we hope that there will be the exact info about the announcement date of the Xiaomi Mi 6.
