Verizon is going to roll the WiFi calling feature for your Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge devices starting from December 6. The feature called Advanced Calling will be rolled in installments and via a software update.
Using the WiFi calling feature, the customers can call the U.S. Numbers for free and the international calls will be charged at long distance rates. Revealing about the WiFi calling feature, Verizon writes, When a customer uses Advanced Calling on our 4G LTE network and travels outside of coverage, the call will seamlessly transfer to a known Wi-Fi hotspot when available.”
Right now the WiFi calling feature is only available for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge handsets and other handsets under the Carrier’s network is supposed to get rolled in the early part of 2016.
