Sprint LG G4 starts receiving the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Hello Sprint LG G4 users! Do you have got the good news? Sprint has defeated all the major US Carriers to roll the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware for the Sprint LG G4 Smartphone. Isn’t it a great news? We know, you must be happy listening to this news. Right? So if you are a user of the Sprint LG G4 handset and is residing in the United States, then cross your fingers to flash your device with the new firmware as it’s on the way.

Being rolled in installments, the update will take some time to reach your Smartphone. So have patience. But if you by chance don’t receive the update within a couple of days, then you can manually check its status by going to Settings>About Phone> Software Update. The new update from Sprint for the LG G4 carries the build version name LS991ZV9 and includes the Sprint Global Roaming Feature.

Once the update reaches your handset,you will see a notification pop up on your device. But once you receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, you are primarily recommended to download it and finish the update using WiFi as it might use much of your mobile data. Besides, you are also recommended to  create a complete backup for your Smartphone. Of course it’s not necessary, but still you must do it to avoid any data loss if it by chance happens.

Once the update reaches your Sprint LG G4, you will be able to mark a number of changes in your device. The changelog includes control over app permissions, Google Now on Tap contextual search, “Doze” battery life enhancement, Superior User Interface and many other features that will take your Android experience to the next level.
