Sony Xperia XZ, Xperia X Compact, Xperia X discount in the US

Sony’s Xperia X series has received a discount in the US market. The newest flagship of Sony, Xperia XZ is now available just for $499.99, down with its earlier price tag of $649.99. The Xperia X Compact is also discounted $100, now being sold at $399.99. The older Xperia X is now for sale at $299.99.

While the discounted price on Amazon applies to all colors of the Xperia XZ, the $399.99 price is only valid for Black and Blue color options of the Xperia X Compact, while White color is still on price tag of $419. Similarly, only the Lime Gold color of Xperia X is being sold at $299.99, other three-color options still cost between $348.40 to $349.99.

If you have a $500 for purchasing a smartphone, the Xperia XZ is a product you cannot skip. The smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch IPS FullHD display with Sony’s Triluminos technology, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset inside, accompany with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage. On the back is the main 23MP camera with triple image sensors (Laser Autofocus, Predictive Hybrid Autofocus), with the ability of 4K video recording and the 5-axis video stabilization. The front is an impressive 13MP selfie camera, USB Type-C port, the fingerprint scanner embedded inside the Home button and all features is powered by a 2900mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Xperia X Compact features with a smaller screen when sporting a 4.6” HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, coming with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, which clocked at 1.8 GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The rear camera is the same with the camera on Sony XZ, 5MP front-facing camera, and powered by 2700mAh capacity battery with fast charging.

Finally, the Xperia X might be the least impressive among three smartphones as it is also the oldest phone in the group. It owns a 5” IPS Full HD display, coming with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, 23MP main camera, 13MP selfie camera, and a 2620mAh battery with fast charging.

All three smartphones are running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but Sony announced that an update to Android 7 Nougat would arrive early next year.
