Sony, the Japanese manufacturer was adorning the media pages just a couple of days ago for introducing two new high-end Smartphones, the Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z1s to the Xperia line-up and of late it has again turned the centre of attraction of all after introducing two new Xperia series, yet low-end Smartphones, the Xperia E1 and Xperia T2 Ultra in the market. Though low-end, yet you will find all those mouth-watering features in the duo devices that you would have marked in the Sony Xperia Z1 and Z1s devices. Let’s have a look on the features.
The Sony Xperia E1 seems to have ample features if compared to the specs it has been endowed with and hence definitely it’s an affordable Smartphone. The device supports dual SIM with a 4 inch WVGA LCD display with 800×480 pixels resolution and is powered by a Core2 Snapdragon 200 processor i.e. clocked at 1.4 GHz. Apart, it features 512 MB RAM with 4GB of storage space and too supports expandable memory feature via microSD card (memory unspecified). The Smartphone packs a 3MP rear camera (front cam vague) and measures 118 x 62.4 x 12 mm with 121 grams weight. It will be initially made available in three colors i.e. white, black & purple following other color combinations later on. For power back up, it packs a 1700 mAh battery and will cost around $240 (Rs. 14,400) unlocked.
Conversely, the Sony Xperia T2 is a more improvised and feature-centric phone than the Xperia E1. Undoubtedly, it’s a more is potential Smartphone than the former as it packs a 6 inch LCD screen with 720 pixels resolution and is powered by the out-of-the-box Android 4.3 Jelly Beann OS. The processing task is being handled by a quad core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and supports 1GB of RAM with 8GB in-built storage space. It too supports a microSD card with a 13MP rear camera (front cam not mentioned) with special features like HSPA+ and NFC. It’s too a dual SIM Smartphone with a 3000mAh battery that can provide the users up to 50 hrs of power performance and it measures 65.2 x 83.8 x 7.65 mm with 171 grams weight. It will also be available in the market in the same three colors like the Xperia E1. But we don’t have any information about the price of the device.
