Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 Smartphones earlier this month and all these Smartphones are immensely popular like the other mid-range Smartphones of Samsung. However, you will be very happy to know that a new Galaxy Smartphone i.e. Galaxy A8 is soon going to be in market, but interestingly it’s not for all markets and is not the 2016 Edition of Galaxy A8. Then what it is? It’s just a Japanese variant of Galaxy A8.
Features and Specs wise the Samsung Galaxy A8 Japanese variant is little different from the Standard version, which is being sold in the global market now. The basic difference you find between the two Smartphones is the processor. While the Standard version of Galaxy A8 packs a Snapdragon 615 processor, the Japanese variant is powered by an octa-core Exynos 5433 SoC with four Cortex A53 cores/four Cortex A57 cores at 1.9 GHz cloaked at 1.3 GHz along with a Mali T760MP6 GPU.
Among other hardware details, the Japanese variant of Galaxy A8 Smartphone packs a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with 386 ppi pixel density and supports 2GB of RAM with 32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. For taking crystal clear pics, the Japanese variant of Galaxy A8 carries a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and Full HD Video recording and supports a 5MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. The connectivity features in the Smartphone are WiFi, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.1 and most importantly the 4G LTE support.
To provide the Customers with durable power back up, the Japanese variant of Galaxy A8 has a 3050 mAh battery and it looks quite similar to the Standard Galaxy A8 variant in look. It measures 158mm x 76.8mm x 5.9mm and weighs 153 grams. Around the edge of the handset, you will find a metal frame and in Japan the Smartphone will be made available in three color variants i.e. White, Black and Golden. However, there is no official revelation on the price and release date of the device. But what is assumed, the Smartphone will go on for sale in Japan by the end of this year.
