Samsung seems to update its duo Galaxy A5 and A7 in the Indian market. According to Pricebaba, the company is going to launch the 2017 version of both these devices in the coming weeks. Samsung released the A 2016 models one year ago in India, but then there hasn’t been many activity from Samsung in the mid-range smartphone class.
To get started with the first middle member in the new trio A series, Galaxy A5 (2017) sports a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen. Powering the device is the Exynos 7880 octa Cortex-A53 cores chipset, which is clocked at 1.9GHz, packed with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage which can expand via a microSD slot.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is equipped a couple of 16MP cameras, one for each side with the F/1.9 aperture. The battery capacity stops at 3,000mAh integrated with the fast charging. There are four-color options available: Black, Blue, Pink, and Gold.
While the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is the biggest of the bunch, when it comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. It is also powered by the Exynos 7880 octa-core Soc with Mali-T830MP3 GPU, packed with 3GB and 32GB of internal storage as well. The cameras have also the same resolution like on the Galaxy A5 (2017). As for the bigger size screen, it’s equipped with a 3600mAh battery with the Fast Charging. And the color options are Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and especially Peach Cloud.

All two new models will come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance and the fingerprint scanners embedded into their home buttons. They will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of box and support Samsung Pay as well as LTE connectivity. The USB Type-C port also appears on all of them.
