Samsung, the leading Smartphone manufacturer in the country today launched two Samsung devices in India today, one is the Galaxy J2 Smartphone 2016 model and the other is Galaxy J Max VoLTE Tablet. Both the device have been made available for the users at a very reasonable respective cost of Rs. 9,750 and Rs. 13,400. Both the devices are endowed with a number of unique features specs at their reasonable price point. So we shall take a look differently on both the devices.
Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) Smartphone
As I told this Smartphone lands with a number of unique features, similarly it will also be made available to the users at a variety of colors such as Black, Gold, and Silver & will be made available both online & offline for the customers starting from 10th of July. Moving to the Specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) packs a 5 inch Super AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. Further it supports 1.5GB of RAM with 8GB of built-in Storage space which can further be expanded upto 32GB using a micro-SD card. The Dual-SIM handset runs on the most recent and most powerful Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and features an 8 megapixel primary camera (with LED flash) and a 5MP front camera. The handset is supported by the selfie-assist feature which will help users take framed selfies using the primary camera.
The other most powerful feature in the new Samsung Galaxy J2 is the next-generation LED notification system that Samsung names Smart Glow. Samsung Galaxy J Max VoLTE Tablet
Moving to the other important release by Samsung today is the Galaxy J Max VoLTE Tablet which was launched today will be made available for the users Online from 10th of July, but will be made available in the retail market in the end of July. The Tablet comes pre-loaded with a number of popular Apps and services from the Galaxy J-Series Smartphones and supports the Ultra Data Saving (UDS) Mode that the company claims to save up to 50 percent of 4G data. Among other benefits, the Tablet packs one year free subscription to VUclip (a VOD platform) and a free Samsung Bluetooth headset.
Moving to the specs, the Samsung Galaxy J Max VoLTE Tablet packs a 7-inch WXGA TFT display with 1280×800 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Further, the device is packed with 1.5GB RAM and supports 16GB of on-board storage space which can further be expanded up to 200GB using a micro-SD card. The tablet runs on the powerful Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and supports Dual SIM and 4G LTE. Biggest part of the tablet is the VoLTE feature which provides Voice service on LTE.
Apart, the Samsung Galaxy J Max is featured with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash & packs a 2MP front camera for taking selfies. Different connectivity options in the device include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB. The device measures 186.9×108.8×8.7mm and packs a 4000 mAh powerful battery.
While these two new devices of Samsung are yet to go on floors, features of both seem quite impressive and hence we think both will grab some good market share. But what you think guys?
