Despite not launching its latest flagship smartphone, Galaxy S8 at 2017 Mobile World Congress, Samsung still hints in this event in Barcelona, Spain when a new report claims to have an image of Samsung upcoming tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with S-Pen.
The render showed that the pressure-sensitive S Pen will not have chances to store it in the Galaxy Tab S3, not as the similar S Pen on the company’s Galaxy Note phones have been. Also, there will only be a 9.7-inch version, and Samsung will not release an 8-inch edition to distinguish with the Tab S series.
According to the report, the upcoming tablet will sport a 2048×1536 Super AMOLED display, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC inside. The chipset is packed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It’s also has a 12MP camera at the back and a 4.7MP front-facing camera for taking selfie. The tablet is supposed to come with two variants: only Wi-Fi, and both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. And the story also claims that the Samsung Tab S3 will go on sale in the normal black, and the silver color, which can be seen as a replacement of the previous white color option.
The starting price for the Galaxy Tab S3 could start at $580 for the Wi-Fi only version, and with the additional cellular wireless hardware, it will be higher. But as this not an official information, take this one with a grain of salt until we get the exact word from Samsung.
