Just after the certification of the Galaxy C7 Pro, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010) has recently been certified by China’s TENAA as well. Almost of devices are often certified a few weeks before their official announcement, so we can do hope that the duo Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and C5 Pro will be released within the next few weeks. So, if rumors are true, both handsets will be introducing next month.
According to The TENAA’s certification, the Galaxy C5 Pro will come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display. Although the panel hasn’t been specified by the agency, there is no doubt that Samsung will use Super AMOLED on its upcoming smartphone. Besides, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core SoC clocked speed at 2.2 GHz. The powerful mid-range chipset will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage and support a microSD card slot up to 64GB so that users can expand the storage further. The fingerprint scanner is also embedded inside the physical home button on the front like other Samsung smartphones.

In terms of camera, like the Galaxy C7 Pro, both the rear and the front-facing cameras will feature 16MP resolution with f1.9 aperture. Other smart connectivity features listed on the TENAA website like Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, , and Micro USB 2.0 are also included. A 3000mAh battery, a slightly upgrade over the 2600mAh of the regular Galaxy C5, will power all features of the device. The upcoming smartphone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow when out of box. The smartphone measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 6.95mm and weighs at 143 grams. The Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro will be available in three color options: Gold, Dark Blue, and Pink when they start going on sale in China next month. Similar to the Galaxy C5 and the Galaxy C7, they will be exclusive to the Chinese market first.
