Just a few days ago we had a discussion on the upcoming flagship of HTC i.e. HTC 10 which was supposed be made available to the public soon. While the Smartphone as confirmed from the official leaks and rumors, is supposed to be launched on 11th of April, now we hear that the Romania Retailer called the QuickMobile has even started taking pre-orders for the device. Simultaneously, the retailer also has unveiled some additional info on the new flagship of HTC which was still unknown to everyone.
In my previous article, I had given you very little info on the device as we didn’t have many. But the new details from QuickMobile reveals that the HTC 10 is going to be sold in three model variants. The First model will come powered by a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 652 CPU with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage space.
The second model will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and will pack the same 3GB RAM with 32GB built-in Storage and the third variant will be most powerful with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Also you can further expand the memory space of all three models up to 200GB using a micro SD card.
Besides, the HTC 10 will hold a 5.5 inch wide screen display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and is rumored to pack a 12MP rear camera and a 4MP secondary camera. Besides, the HTC 10 will be launched running the Stock Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS along with HTC Sense user interface on top. The flagship will be availed in three color variants i.e. Gold, Silver and Gray and as per the pre-order price fixed by Romania Retailers, the 32GB Smartphone variant will cost RON 3,300 or INR 55,000.
While the three greatest flagships of 2016, the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and the Lg G5. have already been launched at the Mobile World Congress and have attracted all eyes, the upcoming HTC device will definitely distract their attentions. But when compared from the price point of view, the cost seems to be bit high. Because HTC is no more popular that much a popular brand anymore, so the authorities at HTC should make little compromise in the price point which will elevated their sale chart.
