This new device is supposed to compete against the Canvas Laptab LT777 which Micromax had launched in October, the previous year. The device was launched at the price tag of Rs. 17,999.
Though this is a 2-in-1 device, but Pantel is promoting it as a Laptop in the E-Commerce website ShopClues where the device is sold exclusively. As a promotional offer, the company is providing a 3G dongle with 6 months 3G data absolutely free from Aircel. The 2-in-1 T-Pad WS1001Q runs on the Windows 10 OS and packs a detachable keyboard with a 10.1-inch IPS display that supports 1280×800 pixels resolution. The device comes powered with a 1.44GHz quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8300 (Intel Core Z3735F) processor cloaked at 1.84GHz. For memory reasons, the device packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space which the users can further expand upto 256GB using a micro SD card.
Besides, the users will find a number of built-in Microsoft genre apps in the 2-in-1 T-Pad WS1001Q handset that include Microsoft Office, OneDrive, and Skype. The device is also good from camera point of view as it packs a 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features of the device are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and a Mini HDMI port. Above all, the convertible device comes powered with a 7000mAh battery which is claimed to provide a constant usage upto 5 – 7 hours.
