Panasonic has launched its first Android-powered camera, the Lumix DMC-CM1. Panasonic has been launching many smartphones in India in the last few months. The Panasonic T41, Panasonic P41 and Panasonic P61, Panasonic Eluga U,Panasonic Eluga A were launched in the India at Rs. 7,990, Rs. 11,990 , Rs. 14,990, Rs. 18,990, Rs. 9,490 respectively.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. The smartphone gets 2GB of RAM. It sports a 4.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage space which can be bolstered up to 128GB with a microSD card. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The new Panasonic Lumix sports a 20-megapixel sensor with an f/2.8 Leica DC Elmarit lens. The smartphone gets a mechanical shutter and a manual control ring. The 20-megapixel sensor is of the 1-inch MOS-type. The device also supports 4K video recording. The camera further is powered by a Venus engine which is incorporated in the Lumix cameras. s sensor size increases, so does the potential for high-quality, noise-free images and improved low-light performance . The camera phone has got a 1.1 MP rear camera. The connectivity features of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 include4G LTE networks ,Wi fi, GPS, Micro USB Bluetooth and NFC. The Panasonic device packs a 2600mAh battery will allows you to venture into photography for a long time. The device includes sensors like proximity sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope. The device has got FM radio ,3.5 mm jack and can be charged via USB. The device accommodates a single micro SIM.
Panasonic’s newly launched Lumix DMC-CM1 camera-phone will be competing with of Samsung’s Galaxy K zoom. The Samsung galaxy K zomm has a 20.7 MP camera, 2/3 inch sensor with CMOS,10x oom, optical image stabilization and also comes with manual shooting mode. It runs Android kitkat 4.4, 2MP rear camera, 4.8 inch display screen. It is powered by 1.7/1.4 Ghz hexacore processor and gets 2 GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal storage which can be expandable via micro SD. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 will be made available in France and Germany by Christmas. The company has not revealed the pricing of the device yet. This smartphone will be definitely one of the top choices for the photographers.
