Oppo has officially launched a slightly upgraded version of F1s- also called “selfie expert” camera in the Indian market. The initial variant was launched in the Indian market in August this year with the price of Rs.17,990.
The new variant has almost no difference with the current F1s on sale in many areas, the change just comes from the RAM and built-in storage. While the F1s launched in August comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage, the new variant features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. And a new grey color will be available for the 4GB option. The upgraded variant has been priced at Rs.18,990, that means just Rs.1000 higher than the device launched in August. The new F1s is expected to go on sale by the end of the month via offline stores. Great news that Oppo will offer a limited edition Doctor Strange cover accompanying with the new F1s for the first 50,000 buyers.

On the back of the device is a 13MP snapper with phase detection autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a dual-LED flash. All the actions of the smartphone is powered by a 3075mAh battery inside, which isn’t the largest in its class but is still meet requirement for long hours. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the Home button, which Oppo claimed to unlock just in 0.22 seconds.
While the hardware is quite good for the price, the F1s makes a disappointment in the software. It runs on Color OS 3.0 interface, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
