Great news for OnePlus fans, after many weeks of rumors, OnePlus has finally confirmed that they are working on a new smartphone, which will be upgraded version of the already successful OnePlus 3– OnePlus 3T. The OnePlus 3T will be announced on November 15, which is exactly one day left from now.
The company announced this week that the new flagship smartphone would have the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor, so we can certainly expect that as a spec bump. (Maybe the same 2.35GHz processor found in Google’s Pixel and also supports for Daydream VR.) According to Carl Pei, a OnePlus co-founder, said on Twitter that the new OnePlus 3T will stick with the company’s Optic AMOLED displays, despite rumors that the company is having difficult sourcing these and is considering to move to LCD display.

Other rumored specs of OnePlus 3T are 8GB of RAM, a 3,500 mAh or 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging from Qualcomm, and an updated version of OnePlus’ Oxygen OS interface based on Android 7.0 Nougat. All of this is a expectable speculation at this point, though it’s just rumors, and you should wait until the 15th to find out exactly what OnePlus 3T has in store.
Taking a look at OnePlus’ online store, in the U.S. the gold model of OnePlus 3 is out of order and the grey version has an approximate 11-day left. In the U.K., although both colors are in stock, the gold model is just shipping in less than a week. The OnePlus 3 has only been available since June, so it is difficultly an old device. With the small update to the Snapdragon 821 — the same processor inside the new Pixel phones — the OnePlus 3T might retain at the $400 price tag.
