All Smartphone users in this world always wish that the Smartphone they are using should be too durable in power backup so that they can use it for maximum time. But unfortunately, no power method has been pioneered till date using which you can solve the battery backup for ever. Though a number of Smartphones now are powered by very powerful batteries, but those can’t solve the power issue for ever. But now a new power method has been discovered using which you can power the battery of your handset while walking.

Got astonished? Yes, the news might seem bit surprising. But it’s true. Mechanical engineers in the University of Wisconsin-Madison are at hand working on a new technique in which your Smartphone will start receiving power when you walk. This new technique will collect the energy of human motion that will empower your Smartphone, said senior scientist J Ashley Taylor and mechanical engineering professor Tom Krupenkin.Then you must be thinking how to collect power to walk.

Very simple. The Engineers are working on a shoe that will incorporate a footwear-embedded energy harvester that will capture energy that human produce while walking and will store this power for later use. Giving a detailed brief on this new innovation and its usage, Dr. Krupenkin said “Human walking carries a lot of energy. Theoretical estimates show that it can produce up to 10 watts per shoe and that energy is just wasted as heat. A total of 20 watts from walking is not a small thing, especially compared to the power requirements of the majority of modern mobile devices.”

This new update is supposed to be of great use for the users. As revealed by Krupenkin a small amount of energy collected from the footwear can power smartphones, tablets, laptop computers and flashlights easily. People from different class will be benefited from this new innovation if it really functions as expected.
