Motorola Moto G 2013 starts receiving Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update

The Motorola Moto G 2013  Edition has started receiving the out-of-the-box Android 4.4.4 KitKat update. It’s also expected the same update will be dispatched to all International XT1032 models whereas the U.S Moto G 2013 model is assumed to receive the update before the end of this week. That means the all new Android KitKat and for the global segments of Motorola Moto G.

Anyways, the update is not a major one we assume as it’s only of 21MB. Also it will not take much space in your device memory neither will bestow any brand new features to your device. Yet, you are recommended to create a full back up for your device for data safety reasons. Post update, your Smartphone will get little software improvements and tweaks which will make your device run comparatively faster.

So if you already own a Motorola Moto G 2013 3G model (US and International variants only), then keep stringent eyes on the notification panel of your Smartphone. The update might hit your device at any moment. You can also manual check it out by following Settings=>About Device=>Software Update. You can also restart your device to get the notification via OTA.

One important thing to mention here that the Motorola Moto G 2013 European models have already updated their Android devices with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS and now they are eagerly waiting for Motorola to start work on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Now it’s only the U.S Edition of Moto G 2013 3G which had not received the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.

The new Android KitKat OS is being sent via OTA in installments. If you receive the update, then just click on it to download and follow the instructions that appears on your screen to make flashed  to your device. One more important thing to mention here that the update is designed only for the stock Android ROMs and you will not receive any update if your device is already running any Custom Android ROM.

Post update, forget not to let’s know if your device is really faster in with the new Firmware and what else changes do you supervise in your Motorola Moto G 2013 device.
