Moto X, the flagship model and the joint venture of Motorola and Google gained immense popularity in the US market due to its chic outlook, and the highly customizable design options via the Moto Maker tool. But the device is still restrained only in the US Market and that’s the cause why the Smartphone is still unable to overflow its reputation in the global market. That’s the reason perhaps why Motorola is planning to launch the device in the European markets this January 15th.
As we know that the Motorola Moto X has all potential to stand a stern contender for its rivals Samsung, Apple and HTC, so we assume a good bit of competition for market share will be witnessed after the Smartphone hits the European stores. Of course we don’t say that it’s the most powerful device in the gadget world, but its unique software features like Motorola Assist and Active Display definitely makes a difference. The device is also enriched with a number of features that we enlist here. Just have a look.
The Motorola Moto G packs a 4.7 inch AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and features a shining Gorilla Glass that protects your device from accidental hazards. It’s powered by a Snapdragon S4 SoC CPU with dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor and supports the X8 mobile computing system. Apart it carries an Aderno 320 GPU with 2GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of in-built storage space. Initially the device was running on the Android 4.2.2 platform and later it received the Android 4.4.2 kitKat update in US. So, the device is supposed to launch with the latest Android OS while hitting the European markets.
Turning to the camera credentials, the device supports a 10MP rear camera with LED flash and other features like Autofocus, Panorama, face detection, HDR, geo-tagging and [email protected] video recording. To assist the users with video calling, the Smartphone packs a 2MP front cam. For providing the users with flawless connectivity, it supports a number of connectivity features such as Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, LTE 100 Mbps, HSDPA 42 Mbps, and NFC. It measures 129x65x10.4 mm and is powered by a 2,200 mAh battery.
However, Motorola has declared to call a press meet on January 14 when a new device will join the European mobile community from Motorola. So we hope another feature-enriched device will be made to public on that. In the meantime we look ahead to the press event to know what device it’s going to be. You too conjecture and share your thoughts with us.
