With this all hullabaloo and chitchat concerning release of the Lollipop Version for the Moto Droid handset has come to an end. While some of the Motorola handset including Motorola Droid Maxx have already received the popular Lollipop firmware, users of the Moto Droid were eagerly waiting for the update to reach their handset. That moment has come now and hence they should get ready to enjoy the brand new Lollipop features on their Motorola Droid handset. The Motorola Droid Turbo was packed with the before popular Android 4.4.4 KitKat update by default and still date there was no Lollipop update rolled for the device.
Of course, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Update for the Motorola Droid Turbo handset will be rolled via OTA. So if you are a user of the said device, then just wait up to June 10th and you will get a notification for the update on your Motorola Droid Smartphone. After that you can download and flash the firmware on your handset. You can also manually check availability of the firmware on your handset by following the Settings>About Device>Software Update sections of your Droid Turbo Smartphone.
Post receiving the update, you are recommended to download the firmware using the WiFi network connection since there is chances of your mobile data getting vanished soon with the update.
