Micromax, the other leading domestic mobile and Smartphone manufacturer lately introduced its new feature oriented Smartphone Micromax Bolt A66 in the official website. Of course the manufacturer has revealed nothing about the price or availability details of the device, but we suppose the device will fit into the category of the recently released duo Smartphones, the Micromax Bolt A28 & A59 which were made available in the Indian market via an online retailer and are still on wait to be officially announced by the company.
However, as we have called the phone feature-centric, the Micromax Bolt A66 features a 4.5inch TFT display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and runs on the Andeoid 4.1.2 Jelly bean Operating System. The device supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) of normal size & is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710G processor. Apart, it supports 512MB RAM with 512MB of built-in storage space and 32GB of expandable memory feature via a microSD card.
Turning to the camera features, the smartphone packs a 2MP rear camera with flash with no info on the front cam. Connectivity features of the device include Bluetooth, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. It packs a 1500mAh battery that is claimed to provide the users with 116 hrs of Standby and up to 4.5 hrs of talktime. To make the Sartphone more user-friendly the company has integrated some unique apps such as Opera Mini, Hike, Spuul, Kingsoft Office, Game HUB and M! Live.
The two previously released A Series Smartphones Bolt A28 and A59 also packs some diligent features in comparison to the price the company has fixed for them. While the Bolt A28 cost Rs. 3,674, the Bolt A59 was made available at a price of Rs. 4,542 in the online retail store. Both the devices were also Android devices that feature the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 4.1 jelly Bean respectively.
So when the price and availability details of the Micromax Bolt A66 are yet to be announced, we would definitely wait to see if the Smartphone features and specs deserve the price that the company fixes for this upcoming device.
