A recently new leak out of China said that the upcoming flagship of Meizu, the Meizu Pro 7 smartphone would be one of the best Android devices this year with impressive hardware specifications and a premium build. Also, the leak gives us a quite clear look at the design of the Meizu flagship as well.
According to the leak, Meizu Pro 7 will be the first flagship smartphone equipped with a 4K display. The Pro 7 is rumored to feature a 5.7-inch 2160 x 3840 resolution display with 10,000:1 contrast ratio, and the brightness up to 1800 nits maximum. The device will come with a titanium body, and owns a design quite similar to previous flagship smartphones of the company.
But instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip expected appearing on almost 2017 flagship smartphones, powering the Meizu Pro 7 will be the MediaTek Helio X30 deca-core SoC. The smartphone will be available in multiple memory variants at the date release, starting with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The more expensive variants will come with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage and the storage can be expandable via a microSD card slot.
At the back of the Pro 7 will feature a 12MP Sony IMX362 camera sensor , which appeared on Vivo Xplay 6, with the phase detection autofocus tech, large 1.4 micron sized pixels and the support for 4K video recording. The selfie camera’s resolution hasn’t been confirmed, but surely the Pro 7 will feature a fingerprint scanner placed on the front.
