Lenovo has finally introduced its latest flagship Android smartphone this year, named ZUK Edge, at an event in China today. The ZUK Edge owns an impressive design with 1.63mm narrow side bezels and 86.4% screen-to-body ratio. Almost of current flagship smartphones on the martket have a screen-to-body ratio of around 75% (except Xiaomi Mi Mix), so ZUK definitely has been a design of its latest flagship. On the back of ZUK Edge also features with 2.5D curved glass.
The ZUK Edge comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen claimed 85% NTSC color gamut and the display panel is covered by a 2.5D curved glass. Powering for the ZUK Edge is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor clocked speed at 2.35 GHz, with the Adreno 530 GPU for handling graphic. The chipset is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on variants and 64GB of inbuilt storage.
At the back is a 13MP primary camera using ISOCELL sensor from Samsung, phase detection autofocus, CAF, with f/2.2 aperture lens and an LED flash. On the front is an 8MP unit with 1.12 micron sized pixels and an f/2.2 aperture lens. Other smart connectivity including Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, and USB 3.1 Type-C port are also equipped. Keeping all features work well is a 3100mAh battery with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging standard support. Great news that the smartphone will run on ZUI 2.5 custom UI layer based Android 7.0 Nougat OS when out of the box

The ZUK Edge has been priced at $330 for the 4GB variant and $360 for the 6GB RAM variant. The device will start going on sale in China from January 1 in Titanium Black and Ceramic White color options. ZUK has also announced that there will be an Edge L custom Lee Min Ho version.
