Lenovo launches Moto Z Play Smartphone and Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod at IFA 2016

Lenovo, the new owner of Motorola has come up with a new variant of the Motorola Moto Z which was launched in June this year. This is a more affordable variant named Motorola Moto Z Play which will cost the users $499 (approx Rs. 33,500). Both of these devices are supported by Moto Mod, a modular functionality which enhances the usability of the Smartphone devices.

The Moto Z Play is feature-centered and is packed with a number of new specs and features. The Moto Z Play Smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC and packs a 5.5-inch full-HD Super Amoled screen. The Smartphone is supported by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage space. The Smartphone supports a 16MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. Lenovo states that the Moto Mods are compatible with all variants of Moto Z Smartphones including the Moto Z Play and the newly released Moto Z Force Smartphones. Also the Mods will be compatible will all other Moto Z Smartphones about to launch in future.

The Motorola Modo Mod is further re-defined by the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod. So for them who are already not aware what the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod is, it’s a big boost to the existing Moto Mod system and is packed by a 13-megapixel sensor, 10X optical zoom, xenon flash, auto back-up of pictures and the functionality to shoot in RAW format. It’s dedicated shutter button and control for zoom button that allow you to shoot hassle-free without any physical touch of the phone’s screen. Besides, the Motorola Moto Z Play’s standard camera app is used by Mod which provides the users with additional features and control  directly on the screen of the handset.

Overall, the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod is a terrific approach to the modular Smartphones that include the JBL SoundBoost that enhances the sound of the Smartphone, packs Insta-Share projector, Incipio OffGrid Power Pack that adds a 2200mAh battery to the device and this also changes the look and feel of the handset.

All  these Motorola Smartphone are supposed to get floored in September this year. But we don’t have any idea how much will all these cost or when will exactly be made available for the users. Stay updated. We shall inform you as soon we get further updates on this.
