HTC, the Chinese mobile and Smartphone manufacturer is soon going to update its One series International variants to the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System and the fact has been revealed by @LlabTooFer, the eminent HTC insider that always comes forth with very accurate predictions. As per the tweet of @LlabTooFer, HTC is going to roll out update for the said HTC One devices by the end of February.
Prior to this, the HTC One Google Play Edition had received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in December last year and hence this device is not included in the category. Apart, all other devices including the HTC One Mini, HTC One Dual SIM, HTC One Max will receive the update by the end of February and hence users of this device must keep checking the notification panel of their devices frequently to get the update massage.
However, the International variant of HTC One X is not included in the category to receive the update as mentioned by @LlabTooFer, since the device already runs on the Android 4.2.2 OS and what we assume the Tagera 3 processor powering the device also can be another reason why HTC thinks to keep this device away from the update.
Further the insider mentions that all the above said HTC devices i.e. HTC One, HTC One Max, HTC One Mini and HTC One dual SIM will receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update with Sense 5.5 and not with Sense 6 since Sense 6 is expected to make debut at a later stage either with the HTC One + or HTC One 2 that was unofficially christened as HTC M8. Apart, it is also mentioned in the report that US variant of HTC One will receive the Android 4.4.2 update by the end of January and will come with the latest sense of HTC.
