How to Use Amazon Echo Multiroom Audio

We’re sure that many of you heard Amazon Echo with the multiroom audio feature. It allows you to turn every Echo in your home into one system for playing albums, playlists and more across your entire home at the same time.

The multiroom audio was added in the update in the summer of 2016. Once you install the update, when you’re listening to a radio station in your home office, you can have the same radio station music in your kitchen. So, you will never miss any second music when you change between areas. Multiroom audio also supports Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, TuneIn and Spotify. If you have an Echo speaker, here is to use Amazon Echo multiroom audio to play music in every room.

You don’t have to buy any new Amazon Echo devices to use multiroom audio as your current  Echo devices can work with the feature. But if you don’t already have an Amazon Echo you need to purchase at least two speakers. Here are some types you can refer:

  1. Amazon Echo Dot for $49.99

Amazon currently still sells the first-generation Amazon Echo though the newer speakers are not too expensive. It comes with a 2.5-inch speaker, a 2-inch tweeter and Bluetooth. But it does not support the headset jack.
