At CES 2017, Huawei brought its Honor 6X smartphone, which was introduced in October in China last year, to everyone. After the confirmation of launching it in EU and the US market, Honor will soon be launching this smartphone in the Indian market the 24th of this month as well and the Honor 6X will be sold exclusively in the country via Amazon.in website.
Amazon India has a promotional page offering for the Honor 6X smartphone currently, teasing the launch so you can also notice when the device officially goes on sale by registering on the page.
The Honor 6X owns an aluminum unibody design, features a 5.5 inch IPS screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel in resolution. Inside is the Huawei’s in-house developed Kirin 655 mid-range octa-core SoC powering the handset, with the Mali-T830MP2 GPU. The chipset will be packed with two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.
At the back of the Honor 6X will be a dual-camera setup. The first sensor is 12MP, coupled with phase-detection tech, while the secondary camera is only 2MP that serves for the depth info and an LED flash. On the front is equipped with an 8MP resolution camera for taking selfies and video callings. Other smart connectivity on the Honor 6X include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with GLONASS, Infrared port, Micro USB 2.0… are also included. A 3340mAh battery with the support for fast charging will remain all features of the Honor 6X. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back below the camera, which is claimed to unlock in just 0.3 seconds. The smartphone may go on sale with Gold, Gray, and Silver color options.
The price tag of 3GB RAM variant is at roughly $245 in home country, whereas the 4GB variant is priced at $300. Pricing details for Indian market will be revealed on the 24th during the launch of event and we do hope it also has a good price.
