Gionee confirmed the release of a new Android smartphone, named Gionee M2017 at an event on December 26. The smartphone was certified by China’s telecommunications regulatory agency TENAA last month.
Although the Gionee M2017 is not a true flagship, it is still one of the best Android phones. The main reason for this is its humongous 7000mAh capacity battery inside the device. It is twice as big as most mid-range Android phones. Great news that it is also integrated fast charging support, so that your can charge the battery quickly no matter the huge capacity. Let’s take a look at the smartphone’s spec revealed by TENAA last month.
The Gionee M2017 will come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED screen, which will put it on the line with flagship smartphone’s display. The chipset under the hood is alsoquite impressive when the M2017 will run on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor, which is clocked speed at 1.95 GHz with the Adreno 510 GPU for handling graphic. Besides, the new smartphone also owns an impressive RAM memory, as the handset will be equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.

On the back of the Gionee M2017 smartphone will feature with a dual 12MP and 13MP camera sensors and an LED flash for low-light condition. On the front will be a 8MP camera for taking selfies, video calls. The fingerprint scanner will be also embedded inside the physical home button on the front. Other smart connectivity like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS are also included. As we said earlier, all the features of Gionee M2017 will be powered by a huge 7000mAh capacity battery inside. Its measure is155.2 x 77.6 x 10.65mm and weight is at 230 grams. As for software, the Gionee M2017 will run on Amigo OS 3.2 interface based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS when out of box.
