While the most recent version of Android i.e. Android Lollipop 5.0 is on full swing, everyone starting from the users to the OEMs are busy researching to make it theirs. Let me explain! The OEMs are busy researching how to flash the firmware to their devices whereas the users are busy searching in the web for the availability the latest android Lollipop for their Smartphone devices. Anyways, we are already aware of the fact that now the Android 5.0 Lollipop update has only been rolled out for Nexus devices and many other OEMs have revealed their plans to update their flasgships with this latest update.
While Samsung stands as the front liner among all set to launch this new firmware for their Smartphones, we have already got the news that Samsung is gonna launch the same for its Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S3 and S4 devices soon, but when? The future is still uncertain. But what we assume and what the rumors specify, Samsung is going to launch the latest firmware build for its Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 devices at sometime in December whereas Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 devices are supposed to receive the same in early January.
Anyways, now what we want to discuss here primarily is the hands-on video of Sammobile on an Android 5.0 Lollipop test build for the Samsung Galaxy S5. This video has been filmed by Sammobiles after installing the new Lollipop test build on a Galaxy S5 device. If you take a keen look on the video, you will see that post updation a number of the design elements of the new interface align with the Material Design guidelines and the TouchWiz UI are endowed with quite a few tweaks. Also the brand new icons in the Toolbox are clearly visible with enhancement in the gallery apps. Sammobile confirms that post update with the Lollipop firmware, the overall performance of the device improvises a lot.
