While the device by default run the Android 4.4 Kikat, now it can be further be upgraded to the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS.   3. Now connect the Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 to the PC via USB cable.
  4. The bottom-left corner of Odin will display a message after the connection of the Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 to your PC is successful.
  5. Now launch Odin on your PC, press “AP/PDA” in Odin and choose the “.tar.md5″ file from the extracted Marshmallow folder. Make sure that re-partition option is unchecked.
  6. Next, select the “Auto-reboot” option in Odin and press the “Start” button. The update process will take around 10-15 minutes. Wait still your Galaxy S4 restarts
