However, if you have just switched from Windows to macOS, it moght not be straightforward for you. Here are 7 easy steps to set up your MacBook Pro 2016 quickly.

Step 1: The new MacBook Pro 2016 will automatically turn on when you open it. On other Macs, you just press the Power button to turn it on.
Step 2: Next, Select a language > and click Continue. Then choose a keyboard layout > click on Continue.
Step 3: Now, Select Wi-Fi network and enter Wi-Fi password > click Continue.
Step 4: Select Don’t transfer any information now to set up your MacBook Pro as new > click Continue.
Step 5: Now, check the Enable Location Services box on your Mac → click Continue.
Then, sign in with your Apple ID. You should use the same Apple ID with your other iDevices such as iPhone, iPad in order to sync services.
In case you have enabled two-factor authentication, you will need to verify your identity, click on Continue, and agree to the terms and conditions. Click Agree again to confirm.
Enter your Full Name for your MacBook. If you have signed in using your current Apple ID, your name will show up automatically.
Besides, in order to enhance the security for your MacBook Pro, you should register your Touch ID.
Step 6: Check the Set time zone box on current location. (remember to turn on Location Services.) > click on Continue
- Next, tick on FileVault disk encryption FileVault will encrypt your Mac’s hard drive contents.
- Tick on Allow my iCloud account to unlock my disk
- Tick on Store files from Documents and Desktop in iCloud.

Step 7: Check the box next to Enable Siri on this MacBook and also click Continue.
